Dr. Lilian Abbo is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Infectious Diseases at Jackson Health System and a Professor of Clinical Infectious Diseases at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Miami Transplant Institute. Dr Abbo leads the antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention programs across Jackson Health System. She holds an Executive master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and a certification for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from MIT. Her research is focused on the management of multidrug resistant infections, infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, management of complex solid organ transplant patients and health system innovation.
