At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
  • describe indications and timing of vaccinations in relation to immunosuppressive therapy;
  • Identify which latent infections need to be screened before immunosuppressive therapy initiation;
  • recognize opportunities for risk/harm reduction during opat initiation and maintenance;
  • identify which anti-infective agents require therapeutic drug monitoring and how to optimize clinical outcomes while minimizing toxicity.
