Dr. Marguerite (Maggie) Monogue graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2014. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. Following her residency, Dr. Monogue pursued a 2-year research fellowship in infectious diseases at the Center for Anti-infective Research and Development in Hartford, Connecticut. She is currently an infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist and assistant professor at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Her main responsibilities include clinical rounds on the infectious diseases consult service and leading research and academic initiatives. Her current research focuses on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of anti-infectives and gram-negative resistance mechanisms.
