Amanda Payne, PhD, MPH is an epidemiologist on the Vaccine Effectiveness and Policy Team in the Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division (CORVD), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, at CDC. Amanda joined CORVD in 2023 after over 15 years in the Division of Blood Disorders in the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental disabilities. She is the deputy principal investigator for the Virtual SARS-CoV-2, Influenza, and Other respiratory viruses Network (VISION) and has led work assessing effectiveness of COVID-19 and RSV vaccines using Medicare claims data.
