Chase Cannon, MD, MPH (he/him) is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy/Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. He received medical training at the University of Texas Southwestern and Tulane University before completing infectious diseases fellowship and an MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Washington. Dr. Cannon is based at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he is a primary care provider for people with HIV at the Madison and MAX Clinic – a low-barrier clinic for persons experiencing challenges engaging with standard HIV care models. His clinical practice and research focus on improving sexual health for LGBTQ+ and other socially marginalized populations through implementation of existing and novel HIV/STI prevention strategies. He is an educator with the University of Washington’s STD Prevention Training Center and serves as Medical Director of the Public Health – Seattle & King County Sexual Health Clinic where he oversees the HIV PrEP, PEP, and doxy-PEP programs.
