Molly Hale, MPH, CIC, FAPIC is currently the Infection Prevention manager of three hospitals and a satellite behavioral health site within the PeaceHealth system in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to her current role, Ms. Hale was the director of Infection Prevention and Control at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR. Ms. Hale holds a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology and biostatistics, has been board certified in Infection Control and Epidemiology since 2008 and was part of the inaugural class of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Fellows program in 2016. Professional interests include emerging pathogens and the growth of the Infection Prevention profession. Ms. Hale is currently the chair of the national APIC Education Committee and is a faculty member for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Project Firstline in Oregon. She is also a past member of the APIC Annual Conference Committee where responsibilities included scientific programming.
