Seema Shah, MD, MPH (she/her/hers)

Dr. Seema Shah serves as the Epidemiology and Immunization Services Branch Medical Director for the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. Dr. Shah is a pediatric emergency medicine physician who previously served as the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Rady Children’s Hospital and Interim Chief of the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of California San Diego. Her educational background includes undergraduate and medical degrees from University of Missouri and residency and fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. She completed her MPH at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a focus in epidemiology.
