Lisa Jackson, MD, MPH is a Senior Investigator at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute (KPWHRI) in Seattle. She received her medical degree from the University of Virginia, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, and served as an Epidemic Intelligence Officer in the Meningitis and Special Pathogens Branch at the CDC. At KPWHRI she directs a program of clinical and epidemiologic research in vaccines and infectious diseases and is actively involved in evaluations of the safety of COVID19 vaccines as part of the CDC Vaccine Safety Datalink network and in the conduct of Phase 1 through 3 trials of COVID19 vaccines as part of the NIH Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Network. She has previously served on the FDA Vaccine and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) and the National Vaccine Advisory Committee (NVAC) and is currently a member of the ACIP COVID-19 Vaccines Work Group.
