Kara Moser is a PhD-trained molecular epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, Dr. Moser's work focuses on developing approaches for data analysis & visualization of next-generation sequencing data from healthcare acquired infections (HAIs). In addition to providing technical support for HAI sequencing activities for the AR Lab Network, Dr. Moser oversees guidance development and capacity-building activities for public health laboratories looking to integrate sequencing approaches into existing HAI programs for public health action.
