Co-Director of Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship

Madeline King is the co-director of outpatient antimicrobial stewardship at Cooper University Healthcare. She works with one of the ID physicians to run an OPAT program and is implementing antibiotic stewardship practices at the health system’s ambulatory sites. Prior to this role, she served as faculty at a college of pharmacy for 6 years. She is currently working on her masters of public health degree with the University of Edinburgh and hopes to use skills learned through this program to improve health communication and education to the public. She regularly uses social media to discuss infectious diseases and public health topics. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, crocheting, and volunteering at a cat rescue.
