Dr. Priya Nori is Medical Director of the Montefiore-Einstein Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and co-leads the Montefiore Health System Antimicrobial Council. She is also Medical Director of the Montefiore OPAT Program. Under her leadership, Montefiore’s ASP was awarded the IDSA’s Stewardship Center of Excellence distinction in 2018 and renewed in 2022. She chairs the IDSA Stewardship Curriculum working group and the SHEA Stewardship Committee. She co-chaired of the SHEA stewardship certificate track, 2019-2022 and serves as Deputy Editor of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Heathcare Epidemiology. She is also CID Photo-quiz co-editor and serves on the OFID editorial board. Within NYC, she serves as course director for the IDSNY pre-meeting professional development workshop. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) and Orthopedic Surgery.She was awarded ID fellowship “teacher of the year” in 2015, the Department of Medicine “rising star” award in 2017, the "Sharon Silbiger Subspecialist Teacher of the Year" award in 2020, the IDSA MedED Community of Practice Featured Educator award in 2022, and the SHEA Stewardship Scholar award in 2023.
