Dr Anosike earned her Medical Degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness degree from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her pediatric residency at Brown University and her fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at Boston Children’s Hospital/ Harvard School of Medicine. During the earlier part of her career, for several years Dr Anosike practiced as a primary care provider and served as clinical director both in the US and abroad in Tanzania, East Africa caring children and adults with HIV/AIDS. In 2020, she joined the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship (ASP) with an interest in antimicrobial/diagnostic stewardship, quality improvement (QI), and education, recipient of several teaching awards throughout her career. She has published various COVID-related studies and is currently the co-principal investigator for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)’s Building Trust and Confidence Through Partnerships program grant, funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which promotes confidence in COVID-19 vaccines and increase routine childhood vaccinations.
