Lars Westblade is an Associate Professor in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Medicine, and Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Director of the Clinical Microbiology Services at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical Center. He did his undergraduate and postgraduate training in biochemistry. He completed a CPEP-approved fellowship in Medical and Public Health Laboratory Microbiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, US. He is interested in all forms of antimicrobial resistance.
