Tim Savage, MD, MPH, MSc is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, faculty member in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a pediatric infectious diseases attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Tim received an undergraduate degree with honors from Brown University, Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science degrees from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed residency and chief residency at Seattle Children's Hospital and a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. His research centers on using large databases to improve our understanding of treatments of common infectious diseases as well as advancing the rigor of comparative studies using observational data. His research on acute sinusitis in children has been published in JAMA, Pediatrics, and Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety. In his free time he loves chasing his two little kids and trying to not get injured while playing adult rec soccer.
