Dr. Ryan Moenster is a professor of pharmacy practice at St. Louis College of Pharmacy at UHSP, infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist at the VA St. Louis Health Care System, and director of the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at the VA St. Louis. Ryan's reseach interests include bone and joint infections, blood stream infections, novel uses of antimicrobials, adverse reactions associated wtih antimicrobials, and antimicrobial resistance. He lectures on the clinical use of antimicrobials, skin and skin structure infections, blood stream infections and infective endocarditis, and central nervous system infections at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and will begin teaching a new elective course, Infectious Diseases in Media and Popular Culture, in the spring of 2025.
