Dr. Amir Mohareb is an infectious diseases physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is also director of the Research Program on Humanitarian Action, Global Migration, and Infectious Diseases at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Global Health. He has extensive experience caring for and managing programs to improve the health of displaced people, including refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. Dr. Mohareb conducts research on HIV, viral hepatitis, infectious disease outbreaks, and vaccine-preventable conditions, particularly in refugees and other displaced people.
