Dr. Amy Chang, MD PharmD, is an infectious disease specialist and clinical informaticist. She is currently board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Clinical Informatics. In her Infectious Disease fellowship, she did intensive training in Antimicrobial Stewardship and Quality Improvement. Now as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford Health Care, she contributes as Medical Informatics Director for infectious Disease/Antimicrobial Stewardship/Infection Prevention; Physician Lead of Stanford Health Care's Clinical Decision Support Committee; and Physician Builder within Stanford's Electronic Health Record, Epic. Currently, her work as an informaticist focuses on Antimicrobial Stewardship, reduction of Hospital Acquired Infections, Computerized Clinical Decision Support Systems, Artificial Intelligience in antimicrobial stewardship, and Wellness of Infectious Disease providers.
