Dr. Sullivan is an associate professor and transplant infectious diseases physician at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he specializes in the treatment and prevention of infections in immunocompromised patients. His academic interests are related to the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the management of infectious diseases. He also has a strong interest in promoting the value of ID and in improving ID physician compensation by optimizing coding and billing practices. He is currently the vice chair of IDSA’s Coding and Payment Subcommittee.
