Anders Koch, MD, PhD, MPH, is a Danish medical epidemiologist and board-certified specialist in infectious diseases and tropical medicine. Dr. Koch is adjunct professor at Ilisimatusarfik, University of Greenland, and chief physician at Statens Serum Institut and Rigshospitalet University Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark, and at Queen Ingrids Hospital, Nuuk, Greenland. In Greenland, Anders Koch is nationally responsible physician for tuberculosis treatment. Anders Koch has published widely on infectious disease epidemiology in Greenland and other Arctic areas, has been a partner in the Nordic CLINF (Climate Change and Infectious Disease) project, and is Past President of the International Union for Circumpolar Health.
