Evangelina (Eva) Inacio Namburete Bauaze, MD, PhD.
An Infectious Diseases Doctor and Researcher with master’s and doctoral degree in Medical Sciences and specialized training in health data analysis. With over 15 years of work in HIV/AIDS clinical services delivery/managment and health research in Mozambique. With enormous experience working with Mozambique’s health systems policies and international standards for Infectious Diseases as well as HIV management, care and treatment services to people living with HIV. Her research field include HIV, TB, DR-TB and Molecular Epidemiology of TB and WGS.
Since 2021, serve the PEPFAR Coordination Office in Mozambique at the US Embassy as Strategic Information Advisor where she oversee the strategic information componente of the entire PEPFAR Country Program, she provides technical direction to HIV/AIDS response in the country as well as monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities to the HIV Country Program and advisory to Senior Government of Mozambique Health Officials on HIV managment toward HIV epidemic control and ending HIV/AIDS as a public health threat.
