I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia and completed medical school there at CES University, then moved to the US to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine at UT Health, San Antonio, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Oregon Health and Science University. I currently work for Oregon Infectious Disease Specialists.
