Dr. James Rudolph directs the Center of Innovation in Long-Term Services and Supports at the Providence Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, which aims to improve access, quality, and value of post-acute care and long-term services for Veterans. I am also a Professor of Medicine and Health Services, Policy, and Practice at Brown University. As a board-certified geriatrician and palliative care physician, I have a passion for improving the care delivered to older adults on both the person and health-system levels, specifically for high-risk patients at vulnerable times in their lives. I am particularly dedicated to caring for and studying Veterans in Community Living Centers (CLCs, the VA equivalent of skilled nursing facilities for post-acute care).
