Dr. Abdessamad earned his BS in Medical Lab from the University of Balamand, Lebanon in 2013, followed by an MD from the same institution in 2017. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at Lebanese American University (LAU). Dr. Abdessamad is an active member of APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology). Currently, he serves as a post-doc research fellow at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and he is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence through an online program at LAU.
