Zulfiya Tilloeva is an epidemiologist at the City Disinfection Station with over 25 years of experience in public health. She has specialized in rural health accessibility, TB and viral hepatitis analysis, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Her expertise extends to risk assessment at medical facilities, infectious disease surveillance, infection prevention, and control.
Currently, Zulfiya Tilloeva is focused on studying factors associated with unfavorable MDR-TB treatment outcomes, building the capacity of local epidemiologists through the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Advance in Tajikistan.
In her previous roles, she participated in the National Drug Resistance Survey on tuberculosis, studied TB in key populations, investigated childhood multidrug-resistant TB and the associated risks of unfavorable outcomes among children and vulnerable groups, viral hepatitis situation assessment, drafted the national hepatitis plan prevention, and worked on capacity building for local NGOs and governmental organizations providing HIV and TB services.
