Bennett Waxse, MD, PhD is a Med-Peds Infectious Diseases Fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Children's National Hospital. He completed his PhD in Clinical Biochemistry through the NIH-Cambridge Scholars Program and his research has spanned cell biology, biochemistry, and now, clinical informatics. Currently, Dr. Waxse investigates gene-disease relationships in infectious diseases using electronic health records in the NHGRI Precision Health Informatics Section.
