Fanny S. Mitrani-Gold is a Director (Infectious Diseases and Global Health) in the Department of Global Epidemiology, within GSK’s Research and Development Organization. She has over 15 years of experience in the design and execution of prospective and retrospective observational studies and provides strategic insight for evidence generation and synthesis of complex data to critically inform clinical and business decisions for internal stakeholders. Fanny graduated from University of South Florida where she received her MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her prior work experience includes consulting, hospital epidemiology, infection control, public health and clinical microbiology. She currently serves as an industry member of the BIO RWE Task Force and leads epidemiology studies which support antibiotic development at GSK. Fanny’s research interests lie in infectious diseases, epidemiology methods, pharmacoepidemiology, safety, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
