Dr. Deepak Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Dr. Kumar received his M.B.B.S. from Dr. S. N. Medical College in Jodhpur and his M.D. in Medicine from the same institution in 2013. He has been recognized for his work in infectious diseases by being awarded a Fellowship from the Infectious Diseases Society of America in 2023. He is also a Fellow of the Indian College of Physician. He has worked as the Course Coordinator for DM Infectious Diseases at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, as Dean (Assistant) Research, as the Nodal Officer for COVID-19 management, and as Coordinator of the DM Infectious Disease program. He is a member of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur's antibiotic policy-making committee and has received numerous certifications from the World Health Organization (WHO) for his work in training other medical professionals. He is also an investigator in the ICMR AMSP project and has presented his research at various international and national conferences. Dr. Kumar has published more than 100 scientific articles and authored four book chapters, making him a leading figure in the field of infectious diseases.
