Dr. Justin Z. Amarin is a clinical research coordinator in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research focuses on respiratory virus epidemiology, particularly influenza, respiratory syncytial virus, and SARS-CoV-2. Dr. Amarin completed his medical education at The University of Jordan. He then completed his first postdoctoral research fellowship at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan, where he gained experience in cancer epidemiology and anatomic pathology. He is now pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology at Vanderbilt University while continuing his research on pediatric respiratory viruses.
