Souci Louis, VMD, MPH, is a lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service, serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the Division of Infectious Disease Readiness and Innovation (DIDRI) at the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID) at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and her Master of Public Health in 2016 from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Stony Brook University in 2013. Her professional interests include One Health, preventative medicine, and health equity.
Dr. Louis resides in Atlanta and loves to spend time with her two cats, Rocky and Anubis. In her free time, she enjoys biking, learning French, and participating in community outreach.
