Stephanie Meyer has been an epidemiologist in the Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Prevention, and Control Division of the Minnesota Department of Health for almost 20 years. She has an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and her Master of Public health degree in Epidemiology. She has worked primarily in foodborne diseases conducting outbreak investigations and was the section informatics lead prior to the pandemic. During COVID, Steph has been involved in various aspects of pandemic response including case investigation/contact tracing, variant surveillance, data management, and vaccine breakthrough surveillance. She is currently the supervisor of the Epidemiology and Data Unit in the COVID Section at the Minnesota Department of Health.
