Infectious Diseases Fellow
Johns Hopkins University
Dr. Lucy X. Li, MD, PhD, is a third-year infectious diseases fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She earned her MD-PhD at Washington University in St Louis, where she investigated the synthesis of Cryptococcus neoformans' major virulence factor, the capsule, and its immunomodulatory effects before moving to Baltimore for internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. As a fellow, Dr. Li remains interested in invasive fungal infections, employing environmental epidemiological approaches to improve risk prediction.
