I am a Public Health Epidemiologist by training. I have a degree in Social Science and an MPH in Epidemiology with 14 years of experience, specializing in Water Sanitation and hygiene (WASH), infection prevention and control, Antimicrobial resistance and evaluation with application in program planning and policy formulation. In addition, my technical expertise in the capacity to change behavior for the health works forces in hospital and community settings. I have experience in implementing large-scale WASH health programs and contributing to documenting the best practices for knowledge management. I have adequate skills in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating implementation research and programs in public health. My scientific expertise in public health epidemiology includes disease control, infection Prevention and Control, Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI), WASH, advanced statistical analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, community intervention, grant writing, project implementation, and scientific presentations. Currently, I am leading four research projects as Principal Investigator (PI). Those research projects are related to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), HAIs and Surgical Site Infections (SSIs) surveillance. I have published 34 articles in international peer-reviewed journals: Nine as the first author, Eight as senior author, and 17 as co-author (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=rJKNKjgAAAAJ&hl=en). Two of my papers as a lead author are under review in different journals. Another four of my manuscripts are in progress for submission. I presented my research works at various conferences, including ASTMH, SHEA, IDWeek, ICEID, ISID, One health, EID, FETP, GHS, Gender Summit, etc. Those conferences also helped me learn many new areas of public health research and enhanced my professional networking. Since 2015, I have been teaching as an Assistant professor (part-time) at the Department of Public Health at Daffodil International University. I also supervised 18 MPH students on public health issues for the MPH dissertation related to IPC and AMR issues.
