My name is Suhail Hassan Jalal, and I’m a Pharm.D intern from Chennai, India. I focus on infectious diseases (ID) as the project field of my concentration since it grabs my attention. I am gaining hands-on experience during my internship and acquiring more information concerning infectious diseases (IDs) through my project work. I am also intrigued with how infections spread, their treatment methods and the role of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) in controlling them. Infectious diseases is a complex and dynamic sector of the healthcare system and there is so much more I want to learn about it. As an intern in this area, I have gained many insights that have helped me understand ID better. My aim is to take part in the developments of this sector and later make it better for the patients through the appropriate prevention and treatment mechanisms.
