Michael Veve, PharmD, MPH is an assistant professor at the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Wayne State University, and an infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Veve received a PharmD at the Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, New York, and completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, as well as an infectious diseases pharmacotherapy fellowship at Wayne State University/Henry Ford Hospital, also in Detroit.
Dr. Veve is an active infectious diseases researcher and has been acknowledged for his work in understanding the epidemiology and management of multi-drug resistant organisms. Dr. Veve maintains practice in antimicrobial stewardship, including ambulatory care antimicrobial stewardship, at Henry Ford Hospital, and is an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists. His other professional interests include public health practice and access to care in under served populations.
