Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed El-Imam is a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. With over fifteen years of experience in global health, Dr. Ahmed has a strong background in developing and implementing public health programs across Africa, particularly in the areas of infectious disease surveillance and program evaluation.
Trained as a physician (MBBS) with a master’s in public health (MPH), Dr. Ahmed is also a member of the West African College of Physicians in Community Medicine.
