Laveta Stewart, PhD, MSc, MPH, is an infectious disease epidemiologist for the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Program (IDCRP) at the Henry M Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. She received her MPH at Saint Louis University School of Public Health, MSc in the Immunology of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and PhD in International Health, Global Disease Epidemiology and Control at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Stewart is the Analysis Team Lead for the IDCRP’s Wound Infections Research Area. Her research interests are in the analysis of short and long-term infectious outcomes following trauma in the deployed military population, clinical practice patterns, and COVID-19 within the Military Health System.
