Dr. Mentore received her medical degree from the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatric Residency in New Orleans, Louisiana with Louisiana State University. She completed her Infectious Diseases Fellowship in 2024 at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Prior to medical school she graduated with honors from Duke University in North Carolina, majoring in Cultural Anthropology and minor in Latin American history. She went on to work at Harvard University in Boston and Georgetown University in Washington DC in translational clinical research in Radiology and Transplant Medicine, respectively. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Mentore’s interest include Global Health, Tropical Medicine and a passion for clinical medical education.
