Infectious Disease Fellow
Jackson Memorial Hospital/ University of Miami
Miami, FL, United States
I am originally from the Dominican Republic, where I completed my medical education in Santiago. After earning my medical degree, I pursued an internal medicine residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center/Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut. My commitment to providing comprehensive patient care and advancing medical knowledge led me to specialize in infectious diseases, and I am currently in the final stages of my fellowship at the University of Miami Hospital/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where I serve as the Chief Medical Fellow.
Throughout my training, I have developed a deep passion for tropical medicine and orthopedic infectious diseases, as well as a strong interest in antimicrobial stewardship. My goal is to contribute to the field by improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and innovative treatments.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, baking, and spending time walking along the beach, where I find balance and inspiration.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
