Dr. Nina Kim is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy & Infectious Diseases and Adjunct Professor of Health Systems & Population Health at the University of Washington (UW). She works at the Liver Clinic and the Madison (HIV) Clinic at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle’s largest safety-net hospital. She serves as the Director of the Translational Research sub-core of the UW/Fred Hutch Center for AIDS Research and is the Associate Editor of Hepatitis B and C Online, a CDC-sponsored web-based curriculum. Dr. Kim is also a member of the AASLD/IDSA Hepatitis C Guidance panel and the NIH/CDC/HIVMA/IDSA guidelines panel for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections for Hepatitis C. She received her medical degree at University of California San Francisco, completed postgraduate training in internal medicine and infectious disease at the UW and later received a master’s of science in epidemiology at the UW School of Public Health.
