Ruth Adekunle, M.D., MSc, is an assistant professor of medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Dr. Adekunle is board-certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. Her clinical interests include infections in immunocompromised hosts, HIV, and hepatitis C. Her research interests focus on disparities in access to transplantation for persons with HIV and infections in immunocompromised hosts.
