Lindsey Gottlieb is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine and the Hospital Epidemiologist at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital, and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital. She cares for a diverse population of patients with a wide variety of infectious disease issues, including multidrug-resistant infections, opportunistic infections in immunocompromised hosts, and fever in returning travelers. Her research interests include exploring the effectiveness of transmission-based precautions, monitoring the impact of hand hygiene on healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), and assessing for racial disparities in HAIs.
