Teresa Batteiger MD, MS (pronouns: she/her/hers) is an Infectious Diseases physician at Indiana University School of Medicine and the Indianapolis VA Medical Center. She completed her internal medicine and ID training at Indiana University. Dr Batteiger's clinical and research interests revolve around sexual health, LGBTQ+ care, and HIV/STI prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Dr Batteiger is a nationally recognized expert in sexually transmitted infections and was a board member of the American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association.
