Surbhi Leekha MBBS, MPH, is an Infectious Diseases physician and Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is the Medical Director for Infection Prevention and Hospital Epidemiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Most of her professional effort is devoted to surveillance and prevention of healthcare associated infections, and infectious disease diagnostic stewardship.
