Dr. Jodian Pinkney is an ID physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She earned her MBBS and DM from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica, and subsequently served as the Clinical Coordinator for the Center for HIV/AIDS, Research and Education Services (CHARES)—an urban specialized clinic catering to the third-largest cohort of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Jamaica.
Dr. Pinkney furthered her training with an Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina, serving as Chief Resident, before starting her ID training in the Massachusetts General Brigham combined ID fellowship program in 2020. Most recently, she completed her Master of Public Health in Health Policy concentrating in Maternal and Child Health at the Harvard School of Public Health and the Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Minority Health Policy at Harvard University in 2024.
Her research focuses on strategies to promote the equitable distribution and uptake of ID-related preventive health measures for reproductive-aged women, including maternal vaccination and HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis.
