Monica I. Ardura, DO, MSCS, FAAP, FPIDS, FIDSA is a pediatric infectious diseases consultant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she is the medical director of the ID Host Defense Program and Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. As a clinician educator, Dr. Ardura serves as the assistant program director for the Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program and program director for the ID Host Defense fellowship at NCH. Her clinical and research interests include the epidemiology, prevention, and management of infections in immunocompromised children. She is an active member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, Pediatric Infectious Disease Society, American Society of Transplantation, The Transplantation Society, and International Pediatric Transplant Association.
