Dr. Paulsen is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He joined the faculty in 2014 after completing a combined Internal Medicine & Pediatric Fellowship in Infectious Diseases. His clinical focus is infections in immunocompromised hosts and he attends on both the Immunocompromised Host consult service and the out-patient clinic. Dr. Paulsen's research interests are in conducting clinical trials in both immunocompromised and non-immunocompromised populations, pimarily focused on early stage vaccine development trials. In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Paulsen is also the Program Director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship.
