Dr. Budge is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis and a co-investigator in the DOLF (Death to Onchocerciasis and Lymphatic Filariasis) project. He completed his MD/PhD training at Vanderbilt University. He served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Parasitic Diseases Branch of the US Centers for Disease Control (2009 - 2011), where he first began to work on filarial diseases, which remain his current research interest.
