Linden Hu is the Paul and Elaine Chervinsky Professor of Immunology at Tufts University School of medicine. Dr. Hu is board certified in infectious diseases. Dr. Hu graduated from Brown University with both an A.B. and a M.D. degree. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Tufts Medical Center. He stayed on as faculty in the Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Tufts Medical Center where he is involved in research of Lyme disease and other tick borne illnesses. He is involved in both clinical and bench research and has been Principal Investigator on over 25 NIH sponsored grants to date in his career. He is a former Vice-Chairman for Faculty Development in the Dept of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center and the former Vice Dean for Research at Tufts University School of Medicine. He has been involved in trainee development both in these positions and in his roles as a T32 training grant director. He has served on numerous NIH study sections and committees, is a fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America and was elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
