Elizabeth Holcomb, MD (she/her/hers)

Elizabeth Nicole Holcomb, M.D. is a General and Addiction Psychiatrist at CrescentCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Holcomb serves as Psychiatric Clinical Lead and has an integral role in the implementation of CrescentCare as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center.

Dr. Holcomb completed her undergraduate education in mathematics at The Johns Hopkins University and obtained a second bachelor of arts degree in Biology from San Francisco State University. She received her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Dr. Holcomb completed her residency and fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Holcomb is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Her interests include addiction treatment in underserved communities, healthcare disparities and chronic, persistent mental illnesses.
