Director of Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics

Felice Adler-Shohet, M.D., FAAP, is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and practices Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California where she is also the Director of Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship.
She earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency training at the Vanderbilt University Children's Hospital followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at The University of California, Irvine College of Medicine and Miller Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Adler currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Clinical Tuberculosis and Other Mycobacterial Diseases.
She has a particular interest in neonatal infections and stewardship as well as tuberculosis and other mycobacterial infections. When she is not working her day job in peds ID she is often trying to advocate, fundraise and organize in hopes of finding treatments and an eventual cure for Ewing sarcoma.
